Purpose

Chamber Music Charleston (CMC) sponsorship provides your business significant visibility among members of an
arts savvy audience while identifying the sponsor as a strong supporter of music and cultural activities in the Lowcountry. CMC’s mission is to develop an audience for classical music through educational programs and chamber music concerts of the highest artistic quality.

Performance

House Concerts: intimate afternoons and evening of chamber music presented in notable homes of downtown
Charleston, Kiawah Island and Seabrook Island, each with an audience of 40-50.

Ovation Concerts: innovative programs in larger venues with music, food and beverage reaching audiences of 350-450.

Special Events: large scale performances at Sottile Theatre, such as CMC holiday performances, and fundraising events, such as “Music, Art and Healing” at the historic Gov. Thomas Bennett House.

Church Concerts: inspiring performances within the superb acoustics of churches in Charleston and Edisto Island.

Classical Kids Concerts: educational programs designed specifically for younger listeners reaching 150-800 family audiences per concert. CMC can establish sponsorships (including joint sponsorships) for single concerts, entire series or selected events.

In ten months of programming CMC performs before an estimated number of 6,000 listeners.

Publicity

Since 2006, CMC has cultivated a strong community of supporters. The median age of a CMC patron is 63 years, with an even distribution of males to females. These affluent households are primarily located in downtown Charleston & on Kiawah Island, Seabrook, Island and Bishop Gadsden. Media recognition, VIP seating, private performances for your business, the opportunity to entertain special clients and meet world renowned artists in an intimate setting, are just a few of the benefits offered when underwriting CMC performances and educational services. CMC boasts an active marketing program that includes print (Charleston Magazine, Lowcountry Parent
Post & Courier and City Paper), radio (SCETV), flyers and programs (at least 5000 programs distributed  seasonally). Sponsoring businesses are recognized via CMC’s various advertising platforms dependent on the  sponsorship level.
